My Background
I am a freelance illustrator and graduate of Academy of Art University. I grew up in Severn, Maryland, spent eight years in the Army after high school, and finally started pursuing my dream career in 2013. I currently live in Colorado with my husband and children.

My favorite medium by far is digital paint, which allows me to experiment with color and composition quickly and easily without the constraints of traditional painting. All of my artwork is created using Adobe Photoshop.

I find inspiration in countless things, but what captures my interest most is lighting and texture. I love the challenge of painting realistic detail, sometimes to a masochistic degree! My favorite subjects currently are faces and animals.
